The menu changes throughout the week – an incredible Sunday lunch – perfect to bring your family. The main menu gives a new walk of life to the classic pub dishes – refined with more luxury ingredients. It’s a simple offering but really showcases the best of British produce.

The two bedrooms available at The Loch & The Tyne have been created with history and luxury in mind – every piece of furniture tells a story. Expect ultra-comfortable beds, a freestanding bath in the living room and peace and tranquillity. Your room package includes a decadent breakfast feast and the perfect country extras, such as full access to our gardens and the option to take one of our Nespresso Velosophy
bikes (made using recycled coffee capsules) for a spin.

About Adam Handling

Scottish-born, Chef Adam, didn’t always have a love for food but his passion, drive and determination saw him start his apprenticeship at the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel, in Scotland – at the age of 16 – and never look back.

Adam’s cooking is all about celebrating the incredible produce he uses – his dishes are packed full of flavour to really make those ingredients shine.

‘Lobster & Crab Linguine, Chilli, Basil’

Steamed Cornish brown crabs, a rich and delicious sauce made from lobster bones and crab shells, freshly made linguine, finished with basil and pickled chillies from our garden, served with roasted lime 😋

Both lobster and crab come from a small place called Newlyn, in Cornwall! This dish is very rich and incredibly tasty! 😍

Corn-fed chicken breast, roasted in a miso glaze. Sweetcorn purée, black garlic purée, pickled girolles and roasted mashed potato with garlic butter inside 😍

‘Blackberry, Yoghurt, Liquid Shortbread’

Yoghurt mousse with a blackberry and liquid shortbread insert, moulded in our @frogbyah mould, finished with dots of blackberry gel and fresh blackberries and served with blackberry sorbet 😍

This fresh, tart and fruity dessert pays homage to our flagship Michelin-starred restaurant @frogbyah in Covent Garden, it’s definitely one to try whenever you visit us, it’s a little bit of the Frog but in The Loch and the Tyne 😉
